Allie's bio
Experienced in applying timeless principles grounded in the convergence of ancient wisdom, modern science, Harvard leadership training, and real-life, to personal, professional, and parenting challenges, I’ve unlocked high potential in 1000s, and cracked the code on doing the same for the next generation.
After surviving a violent attack during a massacre that left hundreds of others dead, personal fallout thereafter, and a turnaround, I spent decades in high-stakes environments as a scientist turned Harvard-trained award-winning leader — at AI Startups, Amazon (AWS), Fortune 1000 boardrooms — while parenting for high potential in the AI era, and have served as a speaker and board advisor at Universities and K-12 schools.
I host the Harvard HBSWA Leadership Wisdom Roundtable, previously was expert panelist to NPR member WNYC, interviewed by NPR, WSJ for my work, hold graduate degrees in Leadership / Management (Harvard) and Biology w/ Neuroscience (NYU w/Columbia), and studied with acclaimed Eastern / Western philosophers, including training as a “sherpa” for presence.
Notes on Human Potential & Resilience has been a rising Top 100 newsletter. I’m also author of the survival adventure and modern tale of resilience and transformation against extraordinary odds, July and Everything After, which became a long-standing #1 Top Release and bestseller across multiple categories, and was named a First Horizon Award Finalist celebrating superior debut works, and a Hawthorne Prize Finalist, and named to the Eric Hoffer Award Grand Prize Short List.
